You may be thinking... What on earth is a Golden Nugget? Well, if you do not know already, we're about to educate you in true P.H.I style.

Let's start at the beginning shall we? In order to understand HOW People Have Influence has progressed as an agency, one thing you need to understand is that what sits at the core of our business structure and what evidently formulates the heartbeat that keeps the pulse of our company pumping, day in and day out, is... PEOPLE.


It goes without saying, there is a reason our agency is not titled, 'Influencers Have Influence'. There is a beauty in understanding people, on all levels, in all environments and through all means. As an agency, that's what we have identified as our zone of genius... meaning, we thrive the most and will be the most successful version of ourselves when we breathe life into other people’s passions. This ultimately allows incredible people to exhale inspiration to those around them, influencing people who look up to them and in doing so, fuels us to continue to help others prosper in this world. It's a beautiful circle and it's this circle that helped birth the idea that started the branch of our agency titled, 'The Golden Nuggets'.

 

You may still be thinking, WHAT ON EARTH is a Golden Nugget? Well, take a breath and keep reading, we're getting there... you know we like to keep it suspenseful and dramatic. Now, in understanding our love for people and knowing this is what sits at the forefront of our agency's strategy which guides our ambition to make an impact in the world, we started to think more clinically about how we could go about getting the best out of talent in order to elevate them to clients and brands. OF COURSE we want to celebrate each and every one of the amazing individuals we work with and try and get as many people as many jobs as humanly possible, but the reality of it is, we understand the way the world works and we realized that we had to set a benchmark or a goal in order to help individuals become better content creators. If you look at any sporting greats or any thought leaders of the world, for example, one thing they all have in common is; they drew inspiration from people who were leading the way, long before they ever did and long before they ever perfected their craft. THIS is the nugget of wisdom that has been turning the talent we work with into gold ever since.

 

We hope you have followed our train of thought thus far and if so, you will understand that the prequel was necessary in order to have a holistic understanding of the explanation that is to come. You see, one thing we have learned over the years is that the WHY behind any process is just as important as the HOW.

 

So, WHY do we have Golden Nuggets?

The reason for us having Golden Nuggets, as stated above, stems from our belief that by identifying people who are craft leaders in their own niche, this will help pave the path forward and allow others to do so in the future. The 'Golden Nuggets' branch of our agency is made up of a group of hand-picked individuals who we believe have incredible potential within their specific spheres and are people whose talent and hard work we want to elevate to the world. Now, before our enquiry email inbox becomes filled up with hundreds of applications, the most important point to note is that you cannot apply to be a Golden Nugget. Over the past year our team has deliberated, going back and forth, discussing standout people who we have worked with in the past, who value the impact they have on the people around them and who more importantly, value their worth. Not only do they have incredible talent but they also have incredible work ethic and inspire people on a daily basis – both online and offline. Inspired people, inspire people. And these nuggs – inspire us on the daily!

 

Golden Nuggets are your 'square pegs in round holes' kinda people; creative and unique, who celebrate individuality and take their learnings from the world around them and use these learnings to do things differently. They are essentially our best representation of what we look for in an 'influencer'. They are confident but not cocky, with an edge that has sequentially led them to being proven performers and are people we trust with our clients' content, over and over again.

 

If we break it down even further to our own P.H.I definition of the word, the term Golden Nugget is a noun {Gol-den Nugg-et} which by definition is the name given to someone whose success in this world is a direct result of the unique way in which they interact with it. Each year we select new individuals to join our agency as Golden Nuggets. Once you become a Golden Nugget, we work extremely closely with you in order to help you with any form of job consultations or negotiations and to actively try and find you more work.

 

In essence, Golden Nuggets are lead generators for us and are representatives of our agency, which showcase the fact that we know what to look for when it comes to finding talent. They highlight the best in what we believe an influencer should be and should offer brands. The whole idea behind our Golden Nuggets system is to incorporate mutual growth with complete transparency. Let’s repeat that so it sticks…. mutual growth with complete transparency. Having amazingly talented people aligned with what we stand for as an agency allows us the credibility to attract more clients and in turn, get all influencers on our books (including our Golden Nuggets) more paid for jobs. Done are the days of straight up trade exchanges. Done are the days of asking for favours. Just like brands used to pay for a print ad, essentially online curated content is purely just a digital print advert – with the added benefit that you get to track the number of people that view, interact, engage and click through from the “digital print ad”.

I mean, we are a SPECIALISED influencer marketing agency at the end of the day and both brands and influencers have seen the results of the way we go about doing business. At this point, If someone were to ask us, what is the key ingredient you have added to your formulae that has made influencers and brands want to work with you... what do you think the answer would be?
